Favorite Cities

The most well-traveled Filipinos chose their most favorite cities and cited the basis for their selection.  Based on the majority, these were the key criteria used in the order of importance:

  • Richness in local arts, culture, and history
  • Great cuisine and lots of food options
  • Scenic views and natural environment
  • Quality of life and livability with an easy going and relaxed vibe
  • Friendliness of the people
  • Safety
  • Transportation efficiency and accessibility
  • Cost of living
  • Diversity & broad offerings of things to do and see
  • Vicinity to other places of interests

There were other minor criteria cited such as being modern and massive bustling areas, great shopping, and hub for world travelers.
