On June 8, 2024, Filipino World Travelers (FWT) gathered for a vibrant meet-up at Hardware Lane in Melbourne, Australia. The event was led by FWT Founder Dondon Bales, who welcomed everyone with great enthusiasm. The meet-up was notably attended by FWT Founding Members Gino and Gladys Alano, accompanied by an entourage of over 20 members from their company, Alano Lending Corporation.
Also gracing the event was Atty. Gloria Futalan, the recently retired College Dean of Silliman University. Visiting Australia for the first time, their presence added a special touch to the gathering, showcasing their commitment to the FWT community and their shared passion for travel. Additionally, guests from Nomadmania and Every Passport Stamp joined the FWT event, further enriching the experience and fostering a sense of global travel camaraderie.
