Founding Members of the Filipino World Travelers (FWT), Wes Verzosa and Dondon Bales, had a meet-up in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, on November 6, 2023. This marked the first visit to the country for Wes, who explored both Baku and Nakhchivan. For Dondon, it was his second visit to Azerbaijan, where he ventured to Karabakh in addition to Baku.
This meet-up in Azerbaijan underscored the global reach and diverse experiences of the Filipino World Travelers, inspiring other members to continue exploring new destinations and sharing their stories with the world.
