On October 30, 2023, Filipino World Travelers Co-leaders Abigail Friedrich and Dondon
Bales met in Vienna, Austria, the home base of Abigail. They organized a meet-up with other travelers at Riva Türkenstraße, together with restaurant owner Max Leyerer who is the Nomadmania envoy for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Following the gathering, Abigail and Dondon roamed around the city, enjoying Vienna's
vibrant atmosphere. As they explored the beautiful city, they discussed future plans for
the FWT community, making the most of their in-person meeting in Vienna.
