On September 4, 2023, Filipino World Travelers Co-leaders Abigail Friedrich and Dondon Bales met up in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. This was their first in-person meet-up since FWT was formed, providing a great opportunity to discuss future plans for the global community of Filipino travelers.
They enjoyed watching the annual Trans Danube Swim which was happening during their visit and celebrating its 10th year. The event draws swimmers from around the world to cross the Danube River, so it added a unique and exciting backdrop to their productive meeting.
