Every year, the Nomadmania Traveler Awards, considered as the "Oscars" for world travelers, celebrate exceptional achievements in global exploration. The global community of Filipino World Travelers submitted the following nominations:
These nominations reflect the dedication, passion, and unique stories of Filipino travelers who continue to make their mark on the world stage. Among the submissions, FWT Founding Member Pia Dina Montemayor became a finalist in the Biggest LPI (Low Passport Index) Traveller award, in recognition of her world travel feats using only a Philippine passport.
For the first time ever, the Awards were held live as an in-person event in Lviv, Ukraine. FWT Founder Dondon Bales attended the Nomadmania Travel Awards on October 20, 2023, showing full support for their lone Filipino nominee.
